A downloadable game

Ever since my childhood, I've dreamed of developing my own video game. The passion for games has been with me my entire life, and now that I have the necessary skills and resources, I want to finally take the leap and become self-employed. I want to use the funds I’ve saved to bring my dream to life and create my dream game. It will be a unique blend of the best elements from *Moonlighter*, *Stardew Valley*, and the fascinating world of automation.

*Moonlighter* has always captivated me with its unique combination of role-playing and shop management. In this game, the player takes on the role of a shopkeeper who runs their store by day and ventures into dangerous dungeons by night to gather valuable goods for sale. The balance between adventurer and businessman fascinated and inspired me. In my own game, this duality will play a central role, but I intend to take it even further. The player will not only sell goods but also create their own products and build an entire production chain that can be automatically optimized.

Another major influence on my project is *Stardew Valley*, a game that enchants with its deep, charming life simulation and social interactions. The feeling of building your own little world and maintaining relationships with the villagers inspired me to develop a game that embraces and expands on this aspect. In my vision, the player will not only manage a farm but also build and manage an entire village where every decision has consequences. The villagers will not be static characters but will have their own dynamics and needs that the player must consider.

The third aspect of my game, the automation process, is inspired by games like *Factorio* and *Satisfactory*, where the player builds complex production facilities to process resources efficiently. This type of gameplay brings a strategic depth to the game, encouraging the player to constantly find new and better ways to optimize their production chains. In my game, I want to introduce these mechanics, but in a more relaxed and less stressful environment. The player should be able to design their production processes so that they run almost automatically while they focus on other tasks, whether it’s social life in the village or exploring new areas.

The interplay of these three elements—the adventure and trade from *Moonlighter*, the social and agricultural life from *Stardew Valley*, and the automation—aims to create a gaming experience that is both relaxing and challenging. The idea is for the player to immerse themselves in a world that constantly presents new tasks while giving them the freedom to progress at their own pace.

The goal of this project is not just to create a game that brings me personal joy but also a work that inspires and excites other players. It should be a game that brings people together, offers them a creative challenge, and invites them to build their own little world. I hope this project marks the beginning of a successful career as an indie developer, and I’m ready to pour all my energy and creativity into its development.

The journey is long and full of challenges, but I am determined to make my dream a reality. It’s an adventure I’m tackling with passion—just like the heroes in the games that have inspired me.
